Corruption and Storage
What if the candy bar you ate, the clothing you wore, and the social media you use came from a business you controlled? Who would get the profits?
I invite you to be part of such a business, questions and comments are appreciated.
What does storage have to do with it?
This concept has never been done before, therefore we need a business type to start with so that we can refine the platform and method we will use, a storage business appeared to be the most appropriate to start with.
What does corruption have to do with it ?
That is a longer political and legal story but here is the short version.
In 2014 I purchased a property in Villa Rica Georgia where I tried to create a storage business based on a collaborative model built upon social media technology.
This situation made me develop a particular distaste for corruption, and a greater respect for free markets.
I created a platform from open source social media technology to prevent corporate corruption and abuse, and now write you to ask for your assistance and experience.
People are generally too distracted by life to see corruption. In addition, people can be manipulated to support an entire government that is corrupt. We have in fact built a social order based on class distinction, where one segment enslaves the other through their stupidity and ignorance.
Corruption can lie hidden, it can then grow to the point where it becomes an multinational endeavor. Then it's normalized and accepted as the new status quo.
As long as a percentage of the population have a basic subsistence, and a prepared cocktail of information is presented, they will not complain, in fact they will be patriotic.
The problem with corruption is that eventually you will have a government that is a mafia pushing protection and favoritism options, leading to a tyrannical corrupt system of patronage, and the dissolution of free markets. Wealth centralization will increase and we all unwittingly become slaves.
Institute for Policy Studies 2018 Findings:
Three dynastic wealth families—the Waltons, the Kochs, and the Mars—have seen their wealth increase nearly 6,000 percent since 1982. Meanwhile, median household wealth over the same period went down by 3 percent. These three wealth dynasties own a combined fortune of $348.7 billion. That’s more than four million times the median wealth of U.S. families.
The dynastic wealth of the Walton family grew from $690 million in 1982 (or $1.81 billion in 2018 dollars) to $169.7 billion in 2018, a mind-numbing increase of 9,257 percent.
Three individuals—Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett—still own more wealth than the bottom half of the country combined.
