After 10 years of hustle & hard-work, we have become a highly-visited local shopping destination for men’s, women’s and children's clothing.

The Plum was established in 1967 when founder, Isaac Mishkin, made the bold move to expand his family's millinery business and transition into women's bridge fashion. Isaac combined his knowledge of buying and selling women's fashion to open “The Plum” in the heart of downtown Harrisburg, PA. Due to great success, he then opened the second Plum in Camp Hill, PA. Collectively, the stores have been dressing not only local patrons but, in addition, those who visit from out of town.

Imagine a landmark building nearly 200 year old sparkling with the same charm and character it had in 1809…that building is home to Kathryn McCauslin-Cadieux’s dream come true on Market Street in Camp Hill.

Some of my best memories are of time spent shopping with my mother. Afternoons growing up in Camp Hill were extra special when my mother took me out for lunch followed by shopping at Mary-Sachs in downtown Harrisburg, Wanamaker’s at the East Mall or Schleisner’s at the Camp Hill Plaza. My mother taught me a love of high quality clothing and the enthusiasm to seek it out at affordable prices. It must be genetic because this is also a favorite activity shared by me and my daughter, Mary-Elaine!
