Our experiment has gone through several changes, and continues to evolve.
We began with one property 8931 Timmons Circle. I then created a video of a proposal and on the 18th of April, I began placing adds on Craigslist, from these we found several prospective partners, of which now four remain.
From Pennsylvania, we created a business in Atlanta, with strangers willing to collaborate towards a common goal. The transparency, and communication tools of our platform permitted us to define objectives, and complete goals.
This is the first time that an online collaborative administrative platform has been used to operate a business, anywhere, from anywhere, and so far its working.
We should consider the huge value of our enterprise, which will be an administrative tool to organize a network of collaborators to operate a business. A group of trades people helping, and promoting each other will always out-compete the competition.
The prospects, that have come and gone, show us that our platform has the effect of eliminating un-effective members, leaving us with only the most capable.
What we do is both participatory, and transparent, these two facts will always make good partners.
1. Those that don't participate are invisible, and have no effect.
2. Bad people don't like transparency.
These facts will assure a network of active - intelligent, and honest business people, with good intentions.
The success of our venture depends on expanding our network, by finding additional qualified participants.
Recent history
We started with a Craigslist post on April 18. Since then we lost two tenants because of issues with our neighbors harassing prospects over our drive way, and we solved that problem.
Unless we go full solar, electrical we will require a building permit, and all taxes to be paid. There is a hearing on the 18th of June, that will give us a clear definition on the tax status of the property. At that point we will get a building permit, and proceed with renovations, unless we choose to go 100% solar, which would be cheeper in the long run. We could then transfer the property into a corporation, and we would then have a solid legal foundation to operate as a corporation.
Currently we are based on this sites user agreement. I put up a small investment, the Timmons property, and give it to all of you to operate, and trust you will be fair with me. Once we show it works, other investors will follow.
An interesting aspect is that the key components of real estate investment are all service related. Office property, and hotel rooms need to be cleaned, a yard must be maintained, stick buildings need framers, painters, property managers, real estate agents, closing attorneys, etc...
For this reason we built metro property crew.com which will be the face of a service business directed to construction, and property management trades.
If we can build a good network of trades people, and can demonstrate we manage properties effectively, we will have no problem finding investors to give us capital to buy more property. If we can show our construction services work smoothly, like amazon sells products, we will dominate the construction service business.
We started with a storage concept and have learned if we can come up with a pickup, slash storage, slash sell, slash donate, application, we would have a successful business. Much of the storage business is now in the form of Pods, or transportable containers. We could build, cool wooden boxes, and storage sheds on the Timmons property, and offer them for sale or rent. This would be a good addition to our store it or sell it.com storage model.
The next step is to define our business plan, increase the number of our participants, and then find investors.
If we can show the ability to manage and improve real estate, there is no problem finding capital, or additional real estate to work with.

Therefore... A group of several professionals together with investors can operate a business that provides storage and re-sale services, and become a successful real estate investment business.
