Civil - Home and Renovation Client Guild

The proposal...

In a well ordered economy, supply and demand, is regulated through the fair exchange between the buyer and seller, and is the basis of our economy.

The dominant side of this equation is demand, or the consumer, because there is no need for any exchange if there is no demand.

Trade guilds, are craftsmen, and professionals who work to help each other in business, and has been a standard practice throughout history.  The consumer has never united into a guild, which in theory would unite the more significant demand side of the economy.

Today such a network is possible, technology permits us to network online, to communicate, and have commercial exchanges on the internet.

We are building that network. An open and transparent commercial platform that connects clients with tradespeople. A business that runs on online collaboration, where all users can see accounting, and be able to measure what the fair value of each exchange would be.

The client or customer could act to regulate the value of the products they consume, and tradespeople would have a ready source of work to choose from.

Our proposal is simple, find a local group of real estate related service providers that are willing to work together under one online platform which provides marketing, billing and logistics for work done.  A unified group of business minded professionals that support each other, and do business together with the client/consumer, on one platform which they all control and manage.

Working in all aspects of the real estate business ...  construction, maintenance, sales, and rentals, as a single business helping each other prosper.

The common task of administering, logistics, marketing, customer relations, billing, and accounting is overseen by professionals, and clients who wish to participate, all done through our online platform.

How this works.

Our main site is civil social media.com and acts as a social media portal, and a marketing tool.

Then there is the private backend business site with accounting, and logistics.

Our business requires no investors, we are funded by our customers and the jobs they provide. As an online collaborative, our users make choices as to how we operate our business.

We provide marketing for tradespeople

We create "locations" for a market area, then add comments about the contacts at the location, along with follow-up sales information. We can then all add private notes about the location, or the contacts intentions. Then invoices are tied to "locations" providing an online service record for the properties we work on.

When we provide service to a "location", we will have a history, and maybe a relationship with this client in the past.

When work is done for a "location", a real time account of work done is available and a log is kept for both the customer, and service provider for later reference.

For tradespeople we build a network, all while promoting their work and business. For our clients, we are like an in house team which they  have more control over. A detailed invoice, documents work and communication for later reference.

The process of a work order is simple and transparent, with all aspects carefully documented for you online.

We get as much information as possible about the job to be done. We create a clear proposal which is reviewed by our service providers so they may give you an accurate price quote.

If acceptable, supplies and materials are purchased, and a start date is set.

The customer is given an exact time of arrival, with images of the work in process, and an invoice for the days work to be paid online, until work is completed.

The most important aspect of this process is that you are in charge both as a customer, and as a service provider.

If you are a service provider, our unique platform permits you to decide what work is accepted, what to charge, how we spend our money, and the direction of our business.

We hope you will become part of the service we provide.

Thank you for watching.
