Our first location opened its doors in 2005 in the city of Gaithersburg. In July 2008 El Comalito's second location opened in Takoma Park, followed by it's third location in Riverdale Park in the summer of 2012.

Since its founding, El Comalito as it's best known, has won over the hearts of the Salvadoran community in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area as well as the American clientele who's always looking to submerge into other cultures and diversify.
Our biggest priority is to satisfy our customers with authentic Salvadoran cuisine, especially the Pupusa. We focus highly on quality and freshness, preparing our ingredients the same day.
